Dr. Carlisle Percival, MD
Carlisle Percival has been CEO of Santa Cruz Surgery Center since 2008. He has been working as an anesthesiologist in Santa Cruz since 1992. Dr. Percival is a native of Ohio where he went to college and medical school. He moved to California in 1980 to complete his specialty training in anesthesiology at UCLA.
Our entire nursing staff is ACLS and PALS certified
Micki Joseph, RN
Micki Joseph, RN is our Director of Nursing. She has been employed at Santa Cruz Surgery Center since 1999. Micki started as a per diem nurse, became a staff nurse, and then moved up to Charge Nurse in the operating room. She left the surgery center for eight months to work at Dominican Hospital and then returned as Director of Nursing. Micki grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and has lived in Santa Cruz County since 1973. She is married and has two grown sons and one grandson, as well as four "rescue" kitties.
Sherry Hagerty, RN
Sherry Hagerty is our Charge Nurse in the Post Anesthetic Care Unit. She is a graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing in 1983 Her primary focus is Peds, Ambulatory Surgery, Nursing Education of Associate degree nursing students, and Patient Education. "I have been married to a wonderful man for 30 years. We have 3 beautiful children, a golden lab, and a cat. Santa Cruz County has been our home for almost 8 years. The Santa Cruz Surgery Center has been a great experience offering an excellent professional nursing environment that I am proud to be a part of."
Andi Rowe, RN
Andi Rowe is a Santa Cruz native. She is a proud graduate of the Cabrillo College nursing program. She is married and has two grown children with two dogs, one adorable and one a little cranky. Andi started out at the Santa Cruz Surgery Center in 1992, as a Surgery Scheduler and left to go to nursing school. After graduation, she worked at Dominican Hospital and then made her way back to the surgery center. She started out per diem in the recovery room, while training to become a Perioperative Nurse. She then became a staff RN and has now promoted to Charge Nurse in the operating room.
